Become A Travel Agent

Do you frequently travel to Walt Disney World? Cruise? All-Inclusive Resorts?
Are you the go-to person for in your family to plan vacations?
Are you constantly offering travel advice to friends?
Do you enjoy sharing photos & videos of your travels on social media?
Would you describe yourself as a self-starter?
Do you enjoy being part of a team?
Are you actively involved in your community (both local and/or online)?

CONSIDERING BECOMING A TRAVEL AGENT?

If you’ve answered yes to all of these questions then being a travel agent may be for you! As an independent contractor with Two Sisters Travel, you’ll work from your own home office booking & planning vacations for your clients. You’ll be responsible for managing your own schedule and all of your on-going expenses including printing, continuing education, postage, etc.

Now, being a travel agent doesn’t mean free vacations and it’s certainly not easy money. This is a commission-based business which means it’s a lot of hours up-front with the pay-off after the client travels. It also means that you could spend hours working with a client and then they choose to book directly with the supplier or another travel agent, or not to go at all. Even if you’re the go-to person for Disney/cruises/whatever in your social circle, getting your first clients can be a daunting task. And you’re never really off-duty because when a client is traveling, they need to be able to get ahold of you 24/7… even when you’re vacationing yourself.
